With all the ups and downs and uncertainty it’s easy to have emotional overwhelm, emotional spikes. And then decision making, focus, creating our business goes skewiff!

Blue Mind Medicine, time out with water, can help reset our nervous system so we can make decisions and create from a calm, connected, serene space.

Wallace J Nichols in his book Blue Mind provides research, stories and evidence explaining why we are happier, healthier and more connected by water.  The blue, red, grey mind concept is a simple way of understanding the contribution of water to our mental health.

Blue Mind – calm, connected, serene, space for grace and inspiration, able to receive

Red Mind – action, decision making, anxiety, pushing, city

Grey Mind – burnt out, disillusioned, indifferent, depressed

Where are you right now?

The antidote to Red and Grey is BLUE – get to the Water.

Where is the nearest water body you can be with or get in?

If there isn’t one, visualise being under a waterfall cleansing any negativity, anything you no longer need away. Take a long bath with epsom salts, stand under your shower for a little bit longer and breathe.

I’m so grateful to the shade of the sea grape tree, dozing whilst listening to the waves and the peace.

Bring your nervous system, your focus, back to your calm, core centre, back to your heart and inspiration to create your business from here, from Source.

Much love, until next week. x x

PS You can listen to the True Business Podcast with Wallace J Nichols for some more Blue Mind inspiration for your business too.

Noelle Adcock-Mcelya

“Kat’s like a spark plug. You come away ignited.”

Wendy Richmond, founder, Yellow Bicycle PR
